OVERVIEW

This website is owned and operated by Cedardog Distribution. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refers to The East Coast Box Company and Cedardog Distribution.  Cedardog Distribution offers this website, including all information and services available to you based upon your acceptance of all terms and conditions stated here.

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of our website and products we use for our boxes at any time.  

We reserve the right to promote or publish images of our product on eastcoastbox.com and our social media accounts. We reserve the right to include information about The East Coast Box Company and/or Cedardog Distribution on/in all of our products.

These Terms and Conditions may be revised at any time.

BY ACCESSING OR USING ANY PART OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.

PRE-ORDERS AND ORDERS

Please allow up to 8 business days for delivery in Canada based on Canada Post Expedited Parcel services. If you would like your package shipped out sooner, please call or email us, and we'll do our best to accommodate if we can.

Orders placed within HRM can be arranged for pick-up by emailing allyson@eastcoastbox.com. A copy of your online receipt and a valid form of ID will be required upon pick-up.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Please be aware that due to the current situation with COVID-19, parcels may take longer than expected to arrive.

Shipping rates:

  • $18.00 Canada wide flat rate
  • All boxes sent Canada Post Expedited service 
  • Comes with tracking and insurance
  • For more information on Canada Posts's Expedited Shipping services, click here.

    Continental United States:

    • We do offer shipping to the United States of America
    • Tracked Packet US only (comes with tracking and insurance) 

    International Shipping;

    • We no longer offer international shipping
    • Please contact info@cedardog.ca for assistance 

    We also offer free pickup within HRM at 6380 Lady Hammond Road, email info@cedardog.ca to arrange pickup.

     

      East Coast Box assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items during shipping.  We will make every effort to file a claim with Canada Post on your behalf.

      We cannot guarantee weather and delivery conditions or damage caused to the outside packaging of the East Coast Box product.

      SECURITY

      Your privacy is important to us.  We will never share or sell your information to a third party organization. Your personal information is safe and protected by the Level 1 PCI certification obtained by Shopify.

      Information obtained by www.eastcoastbox.com is used strictly for the purpose of providing you with your order.

      BACKORDERS ON UNAVAILABLE ITEMS

      If an item has sold out due to an overwhelming demand, you will be notified regarding the back-order status and your order will ship when our stock is replenished. We make an attempt to email all customers with back-ordered items and provide an estimated ship date. You will also be notified If the item will no longer be available. If this should occur after your order/payment has been received, you will be given the option of a full refund or store credit.

      RETURNS

      All sales of East Coast Box are final. If the recipient  receives a damaged or incomplete shipment of Products, please contact us immediately at info@cedardog.ca . We must receive notice of a damaged or incomplete shipment within two (2) weeks of receipt (as shown on by our Canada Post shipping information). Any refunds or replacements are made solely in our discretion.

      RETURN TO SENDER

      East Coast Box assumes no financial responsibility for boxes 'returned to sender' due to incomplete or incorrect address information provided by the customer. Should the box be returned, East Coast Box will contact the customer to confirm shipping information and arrange payment of a re-shipping fee.

      ALLERGY DISCLAIMER

      Cedardog Distribution does not create any of the products in our East Coast Boxes. All products provided in our gift boxes are produced and packaged by third-party vendors.  Cedardog Distribution does not assume responsibility for any product defect or other provided in the gift boxes. The products used are generally labelled with ingredients used by our vendors. Please read the labels before using any products.  Any non-labelled products always have a risk of possible allergen contamination.   Please read the labels before using these products. Cedardog Distribution will not assume any liability for reactions to products, including labelled and non-labelled products.
